If you're lucky enough to sit behind the wheel of any BMW M-powered vehicle, then you'll know the name doesn't settle for anything less than ballistic performance and impeccable style. The German car maker has now taken this reputable characteristic to the two-wheeled pedal-power segment with their limited edition BMW Cruise M-Bike. Finished in their signature M-Sport Austin Metallic Yellow hue from BMW M GmbH, the bike naturally features advanced engineering innovations to live up to its badge.
Limited to just 500 examples, the Cruise M-Bike is built using a hydro-formed aluminium frame alongside carbon components which makes it both extremely light and stable. Regardless of its light frame, road handling rigidity isn't compromised at all to ensure maximum power transmission to the tarmac.
Design-wise, the Crusie M-Bike features ergonomic handlebars which are individually adjustable. It also borrows design cues from BMW's motorcycle range with its “Bullneck” design on the top tube in the front frame that replicates a fuel tank.
Shimano hydraulic disc brakes come standard to ensure you got the stopping power to rival the speed.
The standard colour Cruise M-Bike retails for US$1,350 so you can expect this edition to go for a bit more. Check the BMW store for more details.
