The cliche saying of it's not over until the fat lady sings seems to have gone astray for one Australian tennis player, Bernard Tomic.
The world number 22's on court attitude has again been scrutinised after he played match point against Fabio Fognini in the Madrid Open using the wrong end of his racquet, seemingly as a sign that he had conceded defeat before the final play. The match itself was nothing memorable for Tomic, having been down 6-2, 5-4 and 40-0 by Fognini before he appeared to throw in the towel.
