McLean Design are not new to creating statement homes. Their last project involved a little known electro-pop DJ named Avicii and his somewhat frugal $15 million pad. Well we're glad to report that the design studio has stepped it down a notch, creating this space for a more normal clientele. Note: we use the term 'normal' quite loosely.
This stunning hilltop home called the Ellis Residence spans 3,500 feet and features unprecedented views from both levels that overlook the famous Laguna Beach strip in California. The main living quarter opens up to a balcony with panoramic views, but it doesn't just stop there. Bold, simple and masculine bedrooms also get the ocean treatment with entry into the main living space located on the top level that's accessible via staircase or elevator. Step outside and the statement gets even more ludicrous with an immaculate water feature that greets your homies before the views do. And then comes the bit with the sunset…
