Man of many talents and bona fide magnificent bastard, Leonardo DiCaprio is turning his talents to the small screen to produce a TV series for Showtime.
DiCaprio, by way of his Appian Way production company, is the Executive Producer of an untitled 1980's drama exploring the mafia. Set in Brooklyn, the series follows a decade-long relationship between an unstable mafia captain and a rogue federal agent, each violating the strict codes of their respective organisations.
The 'Wolf Of Wall Street' Oscar nominee currently has his fingers in many pies having just optioned the rights to Simon Toyne's novel 'The Searcher' with Entertainment One and Appian Way, and he's also inked a multi-year deal with Netflix for a series of documentaries that will focus on environmental and conversation themes.
What a guy.
