See Hong Kong Like Never Before With These Incredible Drone Photos

We all know that Hong Kong is crowded, to say the least, but photographer Andy Yeung's latest series, aptly named 'Urban Density' lets us see the reality of the mega city in a whole new light.

Yeung, born and raised in Hong Kong, is a passionate photographer with a thing for architecture and landscapes and captured 'Urban Density' with drones. “Choosing the right time of day and the right spot to fly to minimize interaction with other people can be tough,” he told 500px. “Flying right above the concrete jungle might make the drone subject to electromagnetic interference, hence the danger of flyaways.”

Whilst visually pleasing, Yeung's series reflects a real issue facing those who live in Hong Kong. “I hope this series can get people to think about the high-density living in one of the world's richest cities,” he said. “The message I'm trying to send is that HK is a great city, but lurking beneath the prosperity is a severe housing problem that depresses every dweller in this city living in horrid conditions.”
