Théo Sanson makes skydiving look as scary as afternoon tea with your grandmother. The daredevil just broke a world record by completing a 500 metre slackline crossing between two rock formations in Utah.
If you're unfamiliar with the term, a slackline is essentially a trampoline tightrope. Yes, it's difficult. Yes, it's dangerous. Yes, it's breathtaking to watch. And no, we would not like to try it thank you very much.
On November 15, Sanson successfully made the death-defying trek from The Rectory to Castleon Tower in Castle Valley, Utah. Hovering 400 feet in the air, connected only by a small security line, he slowly and steadily inched his way into the record books.
Sanson's record-setting slackline walk is so terrifying to watch you almost want it to be fake, but watch it you can, thanks to a video from the adventure film company Camp 4 Collective. Throw in some dramatic music and equally dramatic scenery, and this is easily the best adrenaline rushes you can get in only 2 minutes.
