Jeremy Clarkson appears to have had the last laugh since he's axing from the popular BBC show, Top Gear. Multiple sources have confirmed that the 55-year-old, along with his brotherly cohort of James May and Richard Hammond, will be paid a lot more at their new Amazon home than what they were at the British broadcaster.
The reports also indicate that the new contract with the online giant will make Clarkson the highest earning television host in the U.K, raking in $1.225 million per episode whilst Hammond and May will receive are much more modest pay packet of $11 million a year or $915,000 per episode.
Fans who are keen to watch the revamped Top Gear will need to wait until 2016 to see the trio back on the small screen.
